This enchanting Regency house invites you to escape from modern life and re-connect with nature both wild and tamed. Set in 19 acres of woodland, gardens and pasture overlooking the Exe Valley Ashley Court is a lovely example of a small country house retaining every period detail from the gate posts to the servant’s bells. To arrive here is to step back in time, relax and assume a gentler pace of life.
Seasonal vegan and vegetarian menus in our dining room are prepared with the organic produce from our historic walled kitchen garden. The house and grounds offer a spacious and gracious venue for elopements, micro weddings, celebrations and gatherings of all sorts, all year round. For bed and breakfast guests it is a perfectly located base from which to explore both the north and south Devon coastline, Dartmoor and Exmoor. We welcome day visitors to the garden and offer longer stays and retreats for yoga, handcrafts, painting and foraging.
We invite you to decelerate, ditch the digital and step into the deep-green world that is Ashley Court.
